The mission of the Redmond High School Choir program is to provide a safe and enriching environment for students to create, perform, and respond to music of a variety of styles and backgrounds. Our department emphasizes high quality music and engaging performances, but at the core of that is the impact music has on our human experience. Our curriculum and program focus on the values of HERD - Honesty, Excellence, Respect, and Diversity. Those values combined transfer not only to the performance stage, but to every element of life.

BOOSTER LEADERSHIP
Redmond Choir Boosters is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organized :
To enlist the cooperation of home and school for the purpose of promoting support and encouragement of the choral education of the students in the RHS choral program.
To make the needs of the students in the RHS choral program known to the community.
To publicize the importance of the choral program in the school program.
To recognize outstanding contributions of the students in the choral program.
To assist the director of the choral program and staff in whatever is appropriate to produce a comprehensive high school choral program with value to the students and the community.
The primary way we fulfill our purpose is through fundraising to provide opportunities for all choir students and enhance the curriculum. While we endeavor to ensure our efforts support all students in all of our choirs, one of our core values is Equity: recognizing that we do not all start from the same place and must acknowledge and make adjustments to imbalances . You can read more about how we spend the funds we raise on our Accountability page.
