Arrival/Departure: Students should arrive to RHS to load bus no later than 5:30am. Mr. Fitzgerald will be there to greet and wait with students at 5:00am. We will leave RHS promptly at 5:30am. The festival will end around 6:00pm, and we will return to Redmond High School around 8:30pm. I will send out an email message when we leave Ellensburg so you can plan for a pickup time.Clothing Expectations: Students should arrive in their Redmond Choir quarter-zip pullover. Students will also need to bring their regular Concert Attire (see Redmond Choir Syllabus). Students should be prepared to change into Concert Attire quickly upon arrival to CWU. Meals: Families can sign up to bring Breakfast items that students can have prior to loading the bus. For Lunch, we will eat at the Student Union on campus. Students should either pack a lunch or bring their own money to purchase lunch. Meal prices are between $8-$15. Visit cwu.edu/dining for more info on meal options. Dinner will be provided on campus prior to our departure home. What to bring:· Concert Attire (tops, bottoms, belts, shoes, socks)· Water bottle· Lunch or lunch money

The Fall Choral Classic is a non-competitive festival designed to enhance open and honest exchange between the clinicians, the conductor and the students. This fun filled festival takes place in the wonderful acoustical environment of CWU's Dr. Wayne S. Hertz Concert Hall in the Jerilyn S. Mcintyre Music Building. All invited choirs are expected to arrive and be seated by 8:15 a.m. and remain for the duration of the festival, which ends with a one hour showcase final concert and awards ceremony, concluding by 6:00 p.m. This is a non-competitive festival, designed to embrace choirs where they are and help guide them to the next level of excellence. We know how early it is in the year, and hope this festival provides encouragement to get out of the starting blocks quickly, while motivating singers to work hard for a successful school year. There will be performances from CWU Choral Ensembles: Vox Divina, Wildcat Chorus, University Chorale, Vocal Jazz 1, and Chamber Choir. This year’s exceptional adjudicators include Max Mendez and Chris Maunu. They will be joined by current CWU faculty Dr. Scott Peterson, Prof. Vijay Singh, and Dr. Nicole Lamartine as additional adjudicators.
