Booster Board: Seeking nominations (self or others) for our 2026-27 booster board. All positions open, but in particular we know we will need a secretary. See below for job descriptions. Contact president@redmondchoir.org with questions or email secretary@redmondchoir.org to nominate yourself or someone else.
A booster club is a non-profit organization dedicated to "boosting" or supporting an activity. In our case, we exist solely to support the Redmond High School choirs. We do this by raising money, then using that money to benefit the program. Examples of how we support our choir students include:
Funding clinicians for student enrichment
Providing equipment the district does not have funding to provide.
Choir breakfasts, banquets, picnics, team-building events, or food for long bus rides.
Opportunities for students to individually fundraise to offset the cost of trips.
Scholarships for trip attendees.
Senior gifts and scholarships.
The choir director expects all families to support students enrolled in any Redmond choir. That may look different for each family, but some ways you can help include: donating during Booster fundraising drives, volunteering to organize one Booster fundraiser throughout the year, volunteering to serve on the Booster Board, chaperoning field trips, volunteering at RHS-hosted events, and more. Simply attending monthly meetings and participating in the conversation is a great way to show your support.
