Dear RHS Choir Seniors,
The Redmond Choir Boosters Scholarship Committee is now accepting applications for our senior scholarships. You can find the application form on the Redmond Choirs website under the Forms tab. The forms are also attached to this email.
The application and recommendations are due via email on or before May 17. We encourage you all to apply and to start your application now so you have plenty of time to provide complete responses.
All scholarships are awarded based on the responses and quality of the scholarship application. Please be thoughtful in your written answers. The scholarship judges will not know you or your work with Redmond Choirs.

Redmond Choir Boosters have allocated FOUR scholarships this year.
Who is it for? Students who have demonstrated significant involvement in Redmond High School’s choir program. It is to acknowledge their talent, enthusiasm, participation, and leadership in the choir community, as well as in the RHS and Redmond communities at large.
Money: These scholarships are paid for with Booster funds. The amount of money we have for scholarships can vary from year to year, depending on how much money we have. The amount we might need can change from year to year, depending on how many applicants we have.
This year, we have budgeted $1,500 for four scholarships (see note on Student-funded scholarship below).
Requirements:
Student is a graduating senior from Redmond High School in Spring 2024.
Student has been involved in a Redmond Choir at least one year between 2020 and 2024.
Criteria: Scholarships will recognize outstanding citizenship and contribution to the RHS Choir department by the student. Factors to be considered in determining the award:
Shows leadership within the RHS Choir department.
Provides inspiration to others within the RHS Choir department.
Demonstrates involvement with choir activities over their time at RHS.
Displays outstanding citizenship within the Choir department, and the greater community.
Has contributed to the improvement of the RHS Choir program.
Demonstrates involvement in several different aspects of the Choir department (includes participating in additional opportunities beyond what is required for enrollment)
Plans to use the award money to fund post-secondary education.
Redmond Choir Boosters Outstanding Choir Citizen Scholarship
Amount: $500 – Two awards available
Redmond Choir Boosters Runner-Up Outstanding Choir Citizen Scholarship
Amount: $250 – Two awards available
Redmond Choir Seniors Student-Funded Scholarship
Amount: $TBD – Families of seniors who do not have a 2024-25 trip account may elect to have their clothing donation credit placed into a fund for a special scholarship. The boosters will award this scholarship following the same criteria, however the amount of this scholarship will not be known until after the clothing fundraiser is complete and we receive a total from company we’re working with.
